Healthcare Overview
The Indian Healthcare sector is projected to expand rapidly, with an estimated market value of US$280 billion by 2020.
Large investments by private sector players are likely to contribute significantly to this growth. According to data released by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), hospitals and diagnostic centers attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) worth almost US$2,500 million between April 2000 and September 2014.
Healthcare is expected to be the next sunrise sector, with massive opportunities and scope for growth, much like the IT industries in the 1990s. And unlike any other industry, healthcare has been and will remain of permanent national and global importance.
 
Objectives
The programme intends to impart modern management skills to healthcare professionals.
It seeks to offer them a comprehensive grounding in different aspects of healthcare management with a view to enhance their understanding of the contemporary issue in modern healthcare.
It seeks to equip the participants with relevant issues in healthcare management in order to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

·               The course can be pursued by individuals who are desirous of moving to a management position from their current level in the healthcare industry.
·            The course is open for individuals in the supervisory / executive or managerial positions in hospitals and related healthcare institutions.
